Still the snackbar does have great selections outside of the so-so burgers.
I would have liked to see food made to order instead of under a heat lamp. What I love best about this place is they even offer overnight camping! How great is that? It solves a lot of problems for me to be able to bring a tent and not have to drive through the mountains in the dark. They will often have special giveaways, contests, guests, etc in the snack bar This place is more adult-oriented.ĭuring intermissions they actually run the original 50's and 60's era 'let's go to the snackbar' movies. It's a nice alternative from other drive ins that show just kid-oriented movies and cater to families. Palace Cinemas will offer reserved seating in all theaters and online line ticket purchases. Featuring all block buster and first run movies, this 1100 seat theater features 2 auditoriums with fully reclining seats. They have several theme weekends (prom night, Christmas in July, horror movies, etc). Palace Cinemas features luxury seating and state-of-the-art Christie Pure laser projectors and QSC Theater and Dolby Atmos cinema sound systems. When we got out with my little kids around 9:15 pm, the teenage crowd hanging around the exit and near the arcade was getting pretty rough. They only play older movies, no new release. So, if you get there early, your ticket may indicate theater that is labeled for another movie, but the closer it gets to the actual show time, the LED display changes. I go to drive ins whenever I can and this one is a particular favorite of mine.
